This is the path I followed after my career took an unexpected turn in 2022.
In the beginning, I was swinging for home runs.
Google. Amazon. Promising interviews.
The market was hot. This was supposed to be "the leap".
Then the market changed.
The processes did not convert. The roles did not materialize. I struck out and was left with nothing.
After that, I realized I could not wing it.
The search required a reset.
It became less about the perfect opportunity and more about staying in motion. The number kept rising.
Looking back, it had a shape.
Living through it, it felt like starting over.
